"Pregnancy and birth are such a personal, vulnerable experience. So many people had expressed a lack of confidence in my ability to have a HBAC, but I had a strong vision for a redemptive, healing birth and capturing all the beauty therein. From the moment we talked on Zoom the first time, Angelia exuded positivity, light and excitement for the birth images I was hoping to capture. She was the most kind and sensitive photographer in our maternity photos, and so flexible to try and recreate photos from our previous pregnancy. Our birth photos were overwhelmingly gorgeous. I cried when she sent over the first sneak peaks and especially watching our birth video. She captured all the little details that I didn’t even know I wanted to remember - the twirl of the umbilical cord, the sweat on my nose and brow as I delivered the placenta, the intensity of my husband’s concentration while supporting me through contractions, and my son’s hands reaching up toward heaven for the first time after being delivered. They were glorious. The newborn and family photos she took after the birth were so wonderful too. We have three toddlers, and she was so patient and encouraging to them, eliciting the most genuine smiles and sweet camaraderie between them and our new addition. We couldn’t be more pleased or more thankful for her talent, diligence and most of all - her presence. She is an absolute asset to the birthing community of Lexington!"
