When should I have bump pictures taken?
34 - 36 weeks is usually the best time to have them done although every momma is different. Feel free to set up pictures whenever you feel you're ready!
Can I bring my family?
Absolutely! One other adult and siblings are more than welcome!
Will I get to choose the location?
Of course! Bending Willow Birth is a Lexington, KY Maternity Photographer who happily travels to surrounding areas. If you don't already have a location in mind I can even send over a PDF with ideas!
What should I wear?
I want you to feel beautiful and comfortable during your session so wearing something that you feel good in is important. Solid colors and lengthy dresses are usually best. I can send over inspiration boards and you're even welcome to try on options from my client closet.
How much is a Maternity Session and what is included?
Maternity sessions are $200, they include a 1-hour session, 45 hand edited images through a digital gallery within two weeks, access to my client closet full of beautiful dresses for mom, pictures alone and as a family.

As busy as she is I’m not sure how she was so flexible in in working with my schedule even when I was halfway across the world.
I appreciated being able to chat with her and let go of certain expectations or fear about the birth during the pregnancy. She also helped me not stress over certain situations and helped me with trusting myself.
During the birth I really appreciated her calming, kind, and gentle presence. She also had to step in and assist the midwife a few times. She multitasked as a doula and photographer along with providing a helping hand to the midwife.
As a photographer I liked that she had a package for all from maternity, birth, and newborn. I really appreciated her authentic style, where we still look like ourselves and don’t look over edited.
