When should we do our Newborn Session?
Newborn sessions usually take place within the baby's first two weeks of life. You may also choose to do a fresh 48 session which takes place within the first two days after birth. Both can be lifestyle and take place in-home, the hospital, or in a natural lit studio.
What makes Lifestyle Photography so special?
Lifestyle sessions capture some of the most tender and precious moments in the most authentic way. Newborns change every day and quickly grow out of those tiny features and details. I want you to remember those sweet details and those precious first few days as a family with a new little one.
What if I'm not feeling ready for a photo session so soon?
Birth is an amazing process and I definitely understand early postpartum is a time to rest and recover. The great thing about newborn/fresh 48 sessions is that you do not have to do your makeup, dress fancy, or feel "photo ready". The purpose of this session is to capture those raw postpartum moments using the best lighting and angles to highlight you as a family.
How long do newborn sessions take?
These sessions take 1-hour. My goal is to capture all of those special memories in a short and sweet session.
Where can newborn sessions be done?
Bending Willow Birth is a Lexington, KY Newborn Photographer who happily travels to surrounding areas. You can do your newborn session at home, the hospital during your postpartum stay, in a natural lit studio, and even outdoors if you desire!
How much are newborn sessions and what do they include?
Newborn sessions are $250, they include a 1-hour session, 65 hand edited images through a digital gallery within two weeks, access to my client closet with beautiful dresses for mom and sweet wraps for your baby, pictures of your baby and as a family whole.
