Preparing for the birth you desire through meaningful education. We feel extremely passionate about helping women know their options and prepare for the birth they desire. Childbirth education classes and workshops led by our experienced team of doulas in Central Kentucky.
Gain doula insights on labor and birth options, feel empowered for informed decision making and advocacy. Prepare for the birth you desire as we learn the physiological process of birth, watch birth videos, learn tips for having an unmedicated birth and rehearse hands on positions and comfort techniques. Explore all things postpartum and breastfeeding for a smooth transition into parenthood.
August four week childbirth education series
Join us for our childbirth education series where we will be exploring pregnancy, birth and postpartum. This is a wonderful opportunity for expecting families (8-34 weeks) to gain confidence and knowledge as they prepare for birth.
Saturday mornings in August 10a-12p including water, tea, and light snacks.
Schedule:
August 10th - Supporting a healthy pregnancy
August 17th - Exploring all labor and birth options
August 24th - Understanding the process of birth including signs of labor, labor positions, tools for an unmedicated birth and birth videos
August 31st - Postpartum and breastfeeding
All four classes are included in the fee, partners are encouraged to join!
